  17. Sounds like your system wants you to link X programs with extra
  18. libraries. On ISC, these are -linet and -lpt. Maybe yours are similar.
  19. If you tell me what the necessary libraries are, and what uname -a
  20. returns on your system, perhaps I can make configure do the right thing
  21. in the future.

  23. Alternatively, disable X support in Metafont by undefining X11WIN in
  24. lib/c-auto.h and remaking the MFwindow library.
